Good Tuesday morning all
What an awful Sunday, lashings of rain. We did see the sun for about an hour or so at sunset but now back to overcast skies again, lets hope next week will bring some sunshine for all the kiddies to enjoy their summer holiday's. Claire is so exhausted, she said the children were counting down the days till their long summer break.
I hope if you all have holiday's booked that you have a fantastic time and have lots of rest to recharge your batteries. We haven't got anything planned this year because of our old puss cat Summer, when I go away she pines and goes down hill fast, so I would rather have my puss cat "summer" than have a holiday.
OK here goes for this weeks card.
hope you like it.

I don't know what's in place for next months cards yet, It could be Christmas again, who knows. Watch this space!! Thank you all for taking the the time out to visit my blog and for anyone that is just passing through I welcome you with open pokey tools too!! See you same time same place next Tuesday.

Mobile Christmas Card
Good Tuesday morning all
I am sat here in my workroom writing about this weeks Christmas card on this soggy Sunday and blowing a bit of a hoolie day. Well wasn't summer great!!, all of 3 days long. I'm sure we'll get some more sun soon, fingers crossed, at least the flowers are looking beautiful for the rain.
My card this week is a mobile. I made one last year when I first joined the CE DT team, called A Partridge in a pear tree, some of my regular ladies will probably remember it. I'll put a picture of it at the bottom of this blog. Although it's been wet here today ( Sunday ) the ceiling fan has been on as it's still quite warm, and the mobile tree is spinning and sparkling. I managed to get a butterfly in for all the ladies that love butterflies as much as I do. I hope you like this one!
Today ( Tuesday ) is our 36th Wedding Anniversary. At the weekend Paul asked me what I would like as a pressie. I said surprise me, and he said he would have a look what they have in the pound shop on Monday, cheeky beggar! 36 years, my goodness that has gone by so fast. I've asked to have a take away for dinner, so I will raise a glass and a sweet & sour Prawn ball to you all, and say thank you so much for your visit to my blog.
Here Goes!

PEACE
Good Tuesday morning to all
I hope you all had a lovely weekend, even with those spectacular Thunder storms, weren't they scarey. The lightening was flashing every second, but when the main storm came it was immense. The lightening came down to earth and then spread out fingers across the sky, and it was brighter than daylight, I have never seen anything quite as spectacular and frightening at the same time, but couldn't help throwing back the patio doors and watching the show!!.
Hope you all have a happy, healthy & hot week. Not too hot for you though Jane.
Well it's CHRISTMAS. In July how mad!! I hope you like my first Christmas card, If not I will try harder next time.

Sue Wilson- Festive Collection- Classic Poinsettia
Sue Wilson- " " - Classic Poinsettia Open Petal
Sue Wilson- " " - Holly Sprays
Sue Wilson- " " - Sentimental Bauble
Sue Wilson- Embossing Folder- Snowflake Lattice
Spellbinders- Matting Classics B
Foundations Card- Rich Green & Coconut White
Cosmic shimmer- Embossing Powder- Silver Shine
Creative Expressions- Iced Snow
Glitter Card- Silver
Clear Gems
I started by matt and layering with black, silver glitter & coconut white card, and embossed the top layer. I made another layer in the same way but a lot smaller and attached it to the side of the card with sticky pads for dimension. I then made a picture frame with the spellbinder matting basics. I cut a piece of card the same size with a piece of sticky sheet and added the iced snow and stuck to the back of the frame with sticky pads. Then I cut a bauble covered it in perfect medium and sprinkled silver embossing powder over and heat embossed, I did that twice ti make it look more like metal, added the peace sentiment and put some gems around it. I then cutout several sizes of the classic poinsettia in coconut white and the open petal dies in silver glitter card, and cut the leaves from the same sets in green & coconut white card. Next I cut 2 holly sprays and cut them to arrange around the poinsettias. Finally I added a gem to the middle of every snowflake.
I hope you like it, Merry Christmas everyone!! ( SORRY ).
