Craig's Birthday Card

Hi My Friends

Well, the busy Birthday month has come around yet again. My goodness, do the years seem to be whizzing by faster or is it just me.

I'm constantly looking for for dies or stamps for a man card. I watched a show, I think it was on Hochanda and thought that these might just come in handy.

I made this card for Craig, and it really only took a couple of hours after lots of faffing that is!

When I left school I was trained as a window dresser, a job I really loved. When decorating the jewellery windows with watches they always had to displayed at 10 to 2. For Craig's card I thought I would put the time at Craig's age. No he's not 63 that would make me knocking on the doors of 90. He's going to be 36 on the 4th Feb and I still find that hard to believe, and like everyone that is sticking to the lock down rules I feel so sad that I can't celebrate it with him and just give him really big, massive hugs.

I hope you are all coping with this 3rd lock down. I'm finding this one much much harder and I know missing the family is the hardest part, but the weather has a lot to do with it this time, so many grey day's and the rain has been relentless. I have to pull myself up and think of the people that not only have to tackle the lock down but also the flooding of their homes and businesses. So in the great scheme of things I should be grateful. My biggest worry is Claire as her school is still open looking after other key workers children and there is still no sign of teachers getting their jabs. Craig was offered the vaccination today as he is an Ambassador for Mind and is needed for mental health support support.

Next card will be Paul's for the 11th Feb. Thinking cap on again!

My family never look on my blog, so I think it will be safe to post it here early.

Here Goes!
