I'm so sorry it's been so long.

Hello to everyone that still takes the time to pop in here. Lovely to see you again, and I'm so sorry it's been so long.

Claire has given me permission to tell my friends our fantastic news that Claire & Toby are expecting another baby. They were over for a family Bar B Q on Sunday and I asked if I could announce our happy news, and she said yes. Claire is just over 20 weeks and she looks beautiful.

Anxieties are our major hard to deal with times at the moment, and there have been quite a few and mad car rides have been done. luckily they have all turned out to be normal, but it's a just a manic journey that needs to be done.

Claire told us back on Easter Sunday after our afternoon tea at Rhinefield House. They had gone away on an all inclusive holiday to Morocco and a few weeks after their return Claire felt really poorly, after saying it couldn't be anything she had eaten she did the" P" test and low and behold we have another grandchild on the way. We are sooooo elated I just can't put it into words, but just a warning when booking a fully inclusive holiday this year, check the small print for all inclusive!! you may come back with an unexpected pressie. I tried booking an all inclusive last week, and was told to try old farts fantasy holidays. ( Sounds good to me )!!

I'm just Bias, but doesn't she look beautiful. OH! and by the way it's a little man.

We are so happy, and so worried and jump every time the phone rings. Our little man is due in November but they are going to induce her about 3 weeks earlier due to her anxieties, so maybe late October early November. Watch this space!!.

On a totally different note I still have not had my Hysterectomy. After the 8 wk deadline I rang only to find out that my surgeon had left and I had been put on another surgeons waiting list. I met her on the 4th July, she is lovely. I had my pre op assessment and the 17th July was mentioned but no paperwork has arrived so I guess it's not going ahead. I'm dreading the op but it would be nice after the op with all this wonderful sunshine to wear some white trousers instead of my winter blacks. Small price to pay as I have a wonderful bundle to look forward to later in the year.

Thank you so much if you are one of the very special people that return to my blog  All I can say is, I really do appreciate you looking in and for all your support. XX

Massive big happy hugs to you all

Love

Tina XX

If you return, I thank you so much.

  2. Tina. I know how excited you are and your right Claire looks so happy and lovely. It's great news. Now we just need to hear you have the date for your op. At least you have met your surgeon which is good. Maybe a call just to check the paper work isn't lost would be a good thing to do. Can't harm surely! Hazel x

    1. We are sooo excited and can't wait for Oct/Nov to arrive. Claire met Craig's girlfriend on Sunday for the 1st time, and as soon as Pia saw Claire she said you look beautiful Claire, needless to say a friendship has emerged. My 1st time meeting Pia too and she slipped into the Eldridge family beautifully. How lucky am I!!.

Paul also said to ring the hospital tomorrow to see whats happening, but not until he hastaken me out to lunch for our 38th anniversary.

  3. Morning Tina, what wonderful news to wake up to for me today, I am so pleased for Claire and Toby and of course yourselves, yes it will be a very anxious and stressful time but she is in very good hands and I am sure it will all be fine. Keep us informed,

Oh and I tried to book an all inclusive holiday for the old farts club but they said that as I am approaching 70 next month that they could not guarantee anything for me so I said forget it, ha ha xxx

Hopefully you will hear good news soon about the op.

Stay safe, heathy and happy, hugs, June Smith xxx

I've wanted to shout it out loud for a while but would not go against Claire's wishes, but it is the most wonderful news. We will all be on tender hooks for the duration though and I appreciate you sharing with me how that time feels, thank yo June.

How very dare them to tell you they could not accommodate your all inclusive holiday needs. Maybe we ought to start our own old farts holiday company, so you get all the fun & enjoyment without the little added extra's. You did make me laugh, Thank you June

I pray all goes well and that you can place in God's hands all of your anxieties. I can not believe you still have not had your operation. My goodness! 13. So thrilled to read your news, I had been hoping that a baby would be on the horizon for Claire and Toby very soon, a baby brother for Evie and just before Christmas too. I was also hoping that as you have been absent for a while that you were recovering from the big'H', I hope you dont have long to wait now. I can tell you that when I had mine I was sooo relieved that I felt that I could have got out of bed and painted the ward the day afterwards.

We were so surprised when Claire & Toby told us, but give me a surprise like that any day of the week, a lovely brother for Evelyn.

I hope I have the same response as you when I come around from my op. I'm so not looking forward to it, but will be glad when it is over as this all started in 2015 and I'm so fed up with the daily problems, but I have something fantastic to look forward to and need to be very active, and as you say just in time for Christmas.

      Thank you Andrea

I am determined to be in tip top health when our little man arrives. I can't wait to become a Grandma again.

Don't worry about being at the cow's tail again. Like I have said before, it's just lovely to see you here anytime.

Naughty hedgehog, has he been away on an all inclusive holiday too? Watch this space too!!. So glad he has come home though Myra.

Regarding crafting. Still trying to finish the card that brings on a migraine. I didn't like the roses I have made for this card so have started some new ones. I misplaced my 2 sets of spellbinders Rose creations dies ( my favourite rose die ) so I went on line and ordered 2 more sets so that I can cut multiple flowers, only to find my lost dies 2 days later so now I have 4 sets. I wish I could make the roses as fast as I can cut them out.

I will pass on your love to Claire & Toby.

  16. Hi Tina

Claire looks beautiful, congratulations to you all xoxo I'm not surprised there is anxiety but I'm sure all the relevant medical people understand and are happy to put Claire an Tobys minds at ease. I'm over the moon for them.

I can't believe you are still waiting, hopefully this surgeon won't go AWOL and you'll get your op ASAP.

Sorry I've not emailed, when I've been "well" there's been so much to do, got my crafty space as good as I can get it without a major refit, kitchen too has had new storage additions to make everyone's lives easier. My garden has grown, more boxes, more pots but when I've not been good time has flown, I end up catching up on days and days and get worn out. Will not list the various ups and downs here, not the place!

Billy is 8 today so will do something to treat him over the weekend. Best news is that Mister has just landed a full time job at a college nearby starting end of August. So proud of him!

I shall email when I get a moment, all free active time taken printing and sticking my brothers wedding invites!

Love to you and all the family Tina, and big furry hugs from Billy to you and half pint. Also a big bundle of hugs to Sue Wilson and everyone on Particraft... Miss you all so much but I will be back,

I know you have a lot going on with your brothers invites and know how time consuming they are when you are feeling strong let alone when you have your bad days. I look forward to hearing from you when you feel up to it T.

That's brilliant news about Mister landing a full time job, Well done him!! That's a weight off your mind.

    2. Woof woof Tina & Half Pint 🐕

I had a big bone fur my birthday and extra salmon in my dinner, thank you fur the birthday wishes & happy anniversary from me and mum. My leg is strong and I'm running, jumping, chasing balls and catching and bouncing like a Tigger mum says (whatever one of them is!) Its like nothing happened. I started fast running in April and tested it chasing a cat out of my garden, grrrrrrr! My mum said something about me moving like something off a shovel but I didn't really understand what she meant... Anyway, I must go cos its time fur mum to make a coffee and we both have a cuddly snooze after, which I really enjoy cos mum drops off while giving me fusses. I will make sure she emails soon. Special woofs and wags to Half Pint and paw hugs to both of you. Mum sends lots of love and big hugs.

I'm really pleased you are back to your lively self, and you must be running very fast now as I have thrown the same substance off my shovel and it don't arf move fast.( you made me laugh out loud with this story ).

Enjoy your fusses & a snooze both of you. Sending lots of love & hugs

I will post some pictures. I really hope that room is NOT needed to be used but the figures are staggering for sleeping babies. This should not be happening in this day & age.
