Wedding card

 Hello my friends

I'm so sorry it's been so long since my last blog.

Firstly I would like to say how profoundly sad we are as a family to hear the passing of our much beloved Queen Elizabeth II . I've watched  everything I can to follow her homeward bound travel to Windsor Castle . I think her passing was a surprise to a lot of us. As her acceptance the demise of a prime minister & then accepting our new PM must have been a very strenuous task for her, but she did it with all the grace & dignity that we have always known from her  Then two day's later hearing how fragile she had become and within hours of hearing that she had passed away, it's just so incredibly sad. My heart goes out to all of her family here and over seas. May God grant you to rest in peace with Phillip at your side once again. RIP.

As I said earlier it has been quite a long time since my last post, mainly due to pain after my knee operation that hasn't gone as smoothly as I'd hoped. At times I felt It has been worse after having the op and wished I hadn't had it done, and I'm still in that mind set 11wks down the line. I'm working hard at my exercises and hope to feel the benefit soon.and I know there's no gain without pain but having the haematoma is definitely holding back my recovery.

Anyway, I had a couple of cards I was asked to make. One was a wedding card and a 40th birthday card. I'll start with the wedding card now and I'll post the birthday card on Saturday.

Here Goes!

Well that's all folks!

Be back Saturday for the 40th birthday card. Hope you like the wedding card.

Take Care

Love & Big Hugs

  1. Absolutely stunning Tina. Like you I was Absolutely shocked and stunned at the news, I'm not a royalist although I do love William and Katherine, but to hear she was unwell and resting under the supervision of her Dr's, then to see a news caster in black on the little sky preview screen something didn't feel right so I clicked on the preview back up to see everyone in black suite and tie announcing the Queen had just passed, I'm getting so incredibly sensitive with age and I've she'd more tears than I could have expected, I'm thinking of the grandchildren I think and how sad they feel but with royal protocol they can't show it!!! Ridiculous, cry your heart out that's what I say, princesses they maybe but also human.
I must add, wouldn't Diana make the most beautiful Queen Consort?
I did say to Andy after her husband passed that I think she'll be with him within a year, she went down hill so fast after Philip passed, they can snuggle now without anyone saying "it's not what royals do"
Sending love to you beautiful xxx

    1. Thank you Boss.
I love the royal family, always have.I have my boxes of tissues ready for the funeral and I know they'll be used. We followed Diana's route. We went to Kensington Palace and placed flowers there and then followed the route the Hurst took to take Diana to Althorp house and placed flowers in the gate. Claire was 15 & Craig was 12 and they really wanted to be part of that history then. I will be watching from early morning on the 19th September 2022 to see her majesty laid to red next to her beloved Phillip.

      Love & Hugs Steph
