Hi my lovely blog friends

Sorry I have been missing for a while but I have been trying to catch up on hugs with Phoenix and Claire as there weren't too many at Christmas. We did have a wonderful day with Claire & Phoenix on New years day though. I felt sorry for Craig though as he missed his sister again on Christmas day and even his girlfriend was back in Norway with her family. We had a good Boxing with Craig and Pia on the 27th after picking Pia up from Gatwick late on the actual Boxing day. Funny old Christmas really. Hope you all had a wonderful Christmas & New Year, and I know it's late but, I hope you all have a wonderful 2018.

I've got 4 birthday's this month Craig's Paul's Claire's & my sister's Chicky. Craig's was on the 4th Feb but we bought his card, it was a Thomas the Tank Engine card with a badge too! 33 yrs old and it bought a big memorable chuckle. How many early hours did we have to watch the video's when he was poorly. It was the only tapes that would comfort him. You can see how old they were as I said tapes not DVD's. I have since bought him the full collection of Thomas the Tank Engine on DVD's as a keep sake.

I have an idea for Paul's card, not very exciting but I think I'll do it anyway. I also have an idea for Claire's I hope that works too, my sister I haven't a clue so still thinking about that one.

Just a few pictures of my puss cats & Half Pint just to let you know I'm still here, hope you don't mind.

Mo Mo checking out the heat of the radiator.

Mo saying,  just how I like it, HOT!!

This is how Bubble & Squeak sleep all the time, she uses her Bro as a pillow. They are sooo cute!

Finally this is Half Pint demanding attention from Pia ( Craig's Girl friend ) on Boxing day, she's only little but took up most of the settee.

I had another wonderful day today 5th Feb with Claire & Phoenix he's growing so fast and for 3 month's he is so alert and we have conversations that we both understand, how cool is that!

Thank you for sticking with me after so long. B'day cards to follow in the next week.

Love & hugs to you all

    1. Hi Theresa

Oh thank you for taking the time to check everyday, I know I have been really slack just lately. I have wanted to do some crafting but in between my lovely visits seeing Phoenix and family problems it's been a bit full on. It's because I have a lot of birthday's in Feb, March & April that I am really looking forward to another challenge. Paul's card almost done, just one for grandad from Evelyn & Phoenix to make.

Be back soon and thank you again Theresa

  2. Happy New Year to you and yours too.

What lovely cats (and half pint too) but I am a huge cat lover. My boy is 16 months old, today is the first time he has seen snow, he has been transfixed by the window all morning. Look forward to seeing some cards from you soon. Take care.

    1. Hi Andrea

Oh how lovely to have a little furry bundle. I can just imagine him sat in the window watching the snow, what time wasters our little pets are, but good times non the less.

I will have card/cards on my blog by the weekend as Paul's b'day is Sunday. See you soon.

    1. Hi SizzieQ

It's lovely to be back and to have nice cards to make for a change.

I've had a few hick ups but doing OK now thank goodness.

I've been alternating from my Gemini and the Spellbinder as Mo Mo has been using the Gemini as a pillow and I felt really bad to move her as it's right by the radiator and she looks sooo comfy so I thought it wouldn't hurt for me to use a bit more effort with the other machine.

Hope you are well, sending hugs

  5. Morning Tina and everyone, a happy 2018 to you all too. It sounds like Christmas in your household was a wonderful time and that is just how it should be. What good new about Phoenix getting on so well, I bet you took lot's of photo's for the family album and when he is all grown up you can both sit and reflect on these, precious memories to keep for always. My eldest son was born in November, and it mid December of that year we turned on the Christmas tree lights and he immediately turned his head to see them, we knew then that he could see, silly really because as parents you are always looking for these different milestones just to make sure all is OK. I am so pleased that all is going well for you all and I am looking forward to seeing your cards, I always look forward to these because you make such stunning creations.

I have been doing a bit of the Groovi parchment for a little while, love it, I have times when I prefer die cutting and stamping and others when I want to do parching, isn't it wonderful when you can just swap over when ever your mind fancies it. In fact I am going on a Clarity retreat in March just for Groovi parchment, I am so looking forward to this, will be staying at the hotel venue for 2 nights, with 2 of my craft friends, what a way to spend a few days, this is my treat to myself.

Anyway best get on as I have my craft group this morning.

Special hugs to you all and a big, big scrumptious one to Phoenix xxx

    1. Hi June

I can't put a figure on how many photo's were taken over the new year and evertime I see him as he changes so much. His facial expressions and his cooing are just priceless.

Regarding my problem, that seems to have sorted itself out ( about time ), but since the op I have a lover back pain when standing or walking too long but a short sit down and I'm to go again. It's still early days but I'm feeling so much better and the iron tablets are helping too.

I've just googled Groovi parchment. My goodness you have a lot of patience, I would love to see some of your work. I hope you enjoy your treat in March, I think Barbara is a very clever lady.

Hope you enjoyed your craft group today too.

      Love & hugs June

  7. Well hello gorgeous gran. Checked Josh Groban yet ? Lol phoaaaw 😜 I've been thinking about you lately and was going to send you a text yesterday but Andy wasn't up to par so life got in the way. Had a beautiful "Thank You" photo card from Claire/Phoenix the other day, and although Lottie is now 2 I'm glad to read you also had a 'weird' type of Christmas too, they do seem to change when our babies have babies but not how we as grandparents think they will, neither us or Lou and Craig got to open our gifts until at least 7pmish maybe later, by then we were home, after spending the day with them, and Lottie had eaten her supper and was tucked up in her big cosy cot, so yes, it was a little different here too lol. What a gorgeous grandson though, and your pussies are real sweet but half pint is a little gem Tina ☺
Can't wait to see the cards you make love, hope you treat us to your amazing work, I really miss seeing how your designs change and how you design such stunning cards. Andy and ginger in way back from park so time to put the kettle on and send my love and hugs your way MMMWAA 👄 xxx

    1. Hi Boss

I did google Josh, Love his music his voice is amazing but didn't have the same effect on me as it did on you, you minx!

Glad you received your card from Claire & Phoenix. I want to send you a video of Phoenix a couple of weeks ago but trying to get Paul to help is like pulling teeth at the moment. He has his Superman pants on traveling the country helping IBM. He will be home soon, I'll try and pin him down to help me.

Our Children don't understand how special Christmas is and to keep the rotation with inlaws in line, but it didn't happen for us this year so Christmas day was really quite sad. New Year's Eve GOOD though!
Taking Halp Pint with me tomorrow to visit Craig. She has her own little seat that you fix to the passenger seat and it's high enough for her to look out the window and all strapped in her little harness. I must admit it makes me laugh when I've strapped her in and walk past the car and see her sat in her little basket, sooo cute!

Don't get too excited about my man cards, I find them very hard to do.

Give beautiful Lottie a hug, she is adorable.X I hope Andy feels better soon and that you look after yourself too. Sending Love & hugs Steph XX

  8. Good afternoon Tina,
Sorry i haven't been on for a wee while but had a real downhill that i couldn't get out off but i am so very glad that i came on today. I can't tell you how i so happy you have made me today reading about your beautiful girl becoming a real hands on Mummy at long last. I know just how hard she has found this past long months and having been there i know just how hard it has been for her. A beautiful baby boy. What a wonderful gift she has now got and the smile on her face beaming for all the world to see. Enjoy your little bundle of joy and please gift your precious girl my love and the biggest baby huggle is on it's way my flower. It's amazing just how much they change by every passing day and with todays new phones, mothers, fathers and granny's can now have them on constant video and pictures.
Sending you warm hugs and love

    1. HI NORAH

How lovely to hear from you again. I feel very privileged that you have visited my blog again even though you have been feeling so down. I hope you are taking time out for Norah time, easy to say I know, not so easy to put into action when life is dishing out difficult times. I feel for you so much My little girl is a fantastic mummy and I know she thinks of Evelyn all the time and wondering what Evelyn would be doing now, how she would be helping, the list is endless but she's coping with help.

I am always happy to pass on love & hugs to Claire and of course Phoenix, and send some back to you and your family too. Grandma is the best job ever and don't expect to get my P45 for years yet.

Love & Hugs Norah, don't be a stranger I love hearing from you

  12. Hi Wendy

Lovely to see you again Wendy, and thank you for your new year wishes too.

I'm doing ok now thank you just a few issues but otherwise I'm good.

My cats are curled up on my desk near the radiator, or on it and Half Pint has the biggest portion on my new office chair, I think she thinks I've bought a lovely mobile dog bed.

I posted Paul's b'day cards early hrs Sunday and will be posting Claire's at the weekend too, hope you like them.

    See you soon
