Naugthy Kitties

Good Morning to all my regular blog friends and to those who just pass through.

My card today has a bit of a story. I have some lovely net food covers, or shall I say I did!.I came out to the kitchen to find my food cover with more holes than Swiss cheese and 2 angelic guilty puddy cats sat either side of what was once my food cover. They weren't interested in the food under the cover, just the flowers that were on the food cover. squeak had a look that says it was her over there and Bubble was sat in the middle of things and was just looking cute and so innocent. They get away with so much!. Anyway the outcome of this is the food cover was a joke, totally destroyed so I took off all the daisies and Voila! I made a card with them. I don't normally make a card with ready made flowers, but I think I could get used to this. Isn't it true that crafters never throw anything away. I still have some daisies left so they could very well make another appearance soon.

  1. WOW Tina this is gorgeous. At first I thought gosh those daisies are just stunning how did Tna get them to look like that and sit perfectly on her card, on further reading ( one should always read on ). I find they are from your food cover, but saying that your flowers are always so life like but these just looked real. Yes they are made from something other than card. Well Bubble and ?Squeek decided that you needed a helping hand to make us all a WOW Tina card, aren't they clever??? Oh Tina I can just picture your face when you walked in to the room and those two little faces looking back at you. Like the day I walked into Gillians and found her mice cage on the floor and in bits with Oskar sitting there looking at me with not an once of guilt on his face. Yes thankfully he only killed one. The others are fine and funnily enough he won't go near the cage these days, I think he's had his nose nipped. Tina it's great to see one of your cards not a CEDT one. Hope everything is well. 1. Hi Hazel

I knew who the culprits were without a doubt.I can forgive my pets anything and I got a card out of it so Hey Ho!. Isn't it strange I would never have let Claire and Craig get away with anything so naughty.

Those poor little mice, they put up a good fight, bless em!

I am a couple of weeks ahead of my DT cards so I am hoping I can do more me cards, just so long as Paul doesn't insist I clean out more cupboards, Yeh right!. enough now. I need to get back to my work room and play.

    1. Hi Margaret

Anthea is doing just fine. Her treat finished just before Christmas and she is due an MRI and other full body scans very soon. So far it has gone in the right direction and has shrunk so much, she has a limp due to nerve damage but they are hoping in time that will repair.

Margaret, you have such a way with words, I will really try to do more me cards this year.

Thank you, I think you are right we always find it in our hearts to forgive our fluffy friends anything, are you a pet owner too? Maybe I can get them to do something else and get some more inspiration. But what do they say, be careful what you wish for." Maybe not!"

    1. Hi Lynda

Thank you, but they enabled me to make a quick card. I wasn't willing to throw the flowers away, and as a fellow crafter you know that isn't an option, we save everything because we are sure we can use it in the future. Aren't we a fickle bunch

  7. Hi Tina

I still have a PVA glue tube wrapped in duct tape after a young Billy had pinched it off the table and proceeded to use it as a teething aid! It has all these little puppy teeth marks on it. He's five now. It did teach me that I needed to craft up a table instead of a TV table.

Love the card. A proper pick n mix! I love mixing stash and those curved borders are a favourite to use on kits... making the most from the offcuts. I can see how 'real' flowers can really make a card pop and next time I have a wedding card I might reach for them. Thanks for sharing your great ideas.

Hugs to you and those cheeky kitties!

    1. Hi T

I am constantly picking up things in the work room that the cats take a fancy to, and sometimes when I am doing the most intricate things they think I am still playing with them, aren't the furry members of the family really special.

Hope to see you again soon

  8. Hi Tina,
What a gorgeous 'Spring' themed card, love the flowers and the way you have used Sue's dies.
I feel your pain as far as our pesky pussy's go, I have to keep fetching things from down the back of my desk as they jump on my desk to get to window and wipe out anything in their path!
I am glad I have found your blog and look forward to stopping by again soon.
    Happy Crafting,
    hugs

  9. Hi Tina, thank you so much for your visit & kind comment. Glad if you enjoy seeing a bit of trivia about what my life is like!! (it's pretty dull really & I'm rather happy it is like that now!). Loved reading the back story on your card - which is stunning. The kitties knew what they were about, I think. They realized you needed to use these flowers on this beautiful card. I am loving all those die layers...You've made such an elegant look by the way you've used them. I see from your profile you are a Sue Wilson addict. I am too...and I just learned about her in the last few months of 2014. I'm doing my bestest to get caught up though. I'm a Memory Box & Impression Obsession die nut, but I'm becoming quite addicted to SW & Tattered Lace as well, IF I can find them in the USA and at affordable prices! (Think discounted!). I don't have the google circles, and I don't see a place to become a follower. I'll try to get back here often, and let me close in wishing that 2015 will be a very happy & good year for you & your family (and the puddy kats too of course). Hugs & TFS

  10. Orbison didn’t have an easy life, for reasons of both ted baker outlet temperament and circumstance, but that never made him bitter or despairing. Instead, he found a way to root down into the things that made him strange—that dreaminess, isolation, and cheap ted baker dresses pervasive sense of fear—and pull an inexplicable power from them. He needed his glasses, in more ways than one. Orbison died young, ted baker dresses sale of a heart attack at fifty-two, but not before making a remarkable comeback.
