For My Friend
Good Tuesday morning to you all, and welcome to my blog.
I hope you all had a lovely weekend and hope the weather didn't stop you doing want you wanted to do. We had a fantastic weekend celebrating Claire and toby's 1st Anniversary, that I scheduled the unfinished blog and not the complete one .Sorry about that, so here it is.
First I matt and layered silver card lilac and white card, and embossed the white card with the Rambling Rose EF. I did a smaller matt and layer on a slightly smaller square but instead embossing the white card I cut the stamp from the dogwood flower frame stamps and cut away the frame so that it just left the spray of flowers. I stamped it with perfect medium and heat embossed it with silver embossing powder. I them added some water to various mice powers and painted them.
The focal point was made up of 1of the Rhodes dies, 2 of the tags two and linked the swirls to make the die larger. then cut the Scandinavian tag and stamped the sentiment. I then put sticky pads on each layer for extra dimension. Finally I cut for corners also from the Scandinavian set and added to each of the card to give a framed look.
Products Used:-
Cosmic Shimmer- Mica Powders- Pink , Purple, Gold & Blue/Green
Foundations Card- Lilac

Hope you like it. Maximum time to make, card & envelope 45 minutes. Another 5 mins looking for the postage stamps.

Believe in Yourself
Good Tuesday morning all.
Thank you so much for visiting me on my last blog and leaving me some lovely messages. I can't tell how much those lovely comments mean, and I hope will like my latest card.
I hope you had a lovely weekend, and the weather was kind to you all, although speaking to people on my email it's been a bit cooler up country.
This weeks DT card is a lot less fussy than others I have made. I made some daisies this week as I thought you might bee getting bored of roses.
At the end of the photo's of the DT card, I will show you a picture of the other man I spent the weekend with along with hubby Paul. T ( Wheely Bad ) this is the picture I promised you, sorry it's late.
Our adopted boy Doug, I really miss him. We had such a lovely weekend having a dog around the home again. Such a gentle giant.
Products Used-:
Couture Creations- Swiss dots embossing folder
CE Foundations card- Coconut Milk, Black & Vintage gold
Spellbinders- Delicate Asters
CE John Lockwood- Daisey Striplet
Sentiment from CE- John Lockwood Elements Stamps, Lotus Frame
Cosmic Shimmer- Graceful Mustard
Cosmic Shimmer embossing powder- Black
Clear gems from my stash
Creative Expressions- Yellow dazzlers
Firstly I matt and layered 2 layers of black, antique gold and Swiss dots card of various dimensions. Then stamped the Daisey Striplet stamp with clear medium and embossed with the black embossing powder. I then painted the daisies with the mustard mica powder and a little water. Then matt and layered with black and antique gold card. The sentiment was cut to make a longer length message, and then matt and layered it on a forked flag with the black and gold card. For the finishing touch I cut some daisies, 4 layers each flower and added a dazzler to the centre, on the daisy striplet I added some clear gems from my sparkly stash.
A quick card to make, I hope you like it.
Take care, have a good week and will talk soon
Big Hugs to all :-)

Let It Bloom
Good Tuesday morning to everyone.
Hope the weather is being kinder to you in Cumbria and Scotland, after your snow at the weekend.I'm sorry to rub it in ,but we managed to prepare all our beds for our veg in relative sunshine, a bit breezy but dry. We have only dabbled growing veg in the past but Paul wants to have a go at a bit more this year. We are doing Maris Piper pots, swede, Parsnips, onions, Runner beans, Tomatoes, lettuce and Strawberries. I'm keeping everything crossed it works or I am going to have one miserable hubby.
On the badger news, I thought he/she had decided not to visit anymore, but early hours Sunday morning I went to turn the lights off in the kitchen and there it was as bold as brass sat on the patio table in the back garden eating all the peanuts, So cute!!
I am making my daughter 1st wedding anniversary card. I can't believe how fast that year has passed, I will post that card later in the week.
This weeks card I have done the Sue Wilson Paper grouting technique again. I really like doing this, got messy again but it's good fun.
hope you like this one.

The roses were made with Spellbinders rose creation magabilities dies and coloured with Tim Holtz D Ink, I made a frame with 3 spellbinder dies, I embossed all 3 first, then took away the middle die carefully and then cut them through the machine. I stamped my sentiment with Perfect medium and used silver embossing powder and heat embossed. I added the Ornamental corner, but had to snip away pieces to see the sentiment. Tied a Grosgrain ribbon and added leaves of green and white to the roses. Butterflies were made with foundations white card and coloured with Tim Holtz distress ink. I hope you like it.

Thinking Of You
Hi Everyone
Happy Tuesday Morning to you all, and I hope you all had a happy and peaceful Easter break, I have to say I had a fab one. I got to see my Claire & Craig and their respective partners on Saturday, my sister on Sunday and crafting on Monday, how lucky am I.
With this card I had another go of the fire & ice Technique. It wasn't the best technique when you have one of the little kitties in the room. I was trying to mix a few of the pots of gilding flakes as I wanted it to match the main colour of the card. Bubble saw a few flakes moving on the desk and thought she would take a closer look. When she jumped onto my table it circulated air that then made the flakes float even more. Well that was it it all happened so fast, her paws and her nose were in my gilding flakes before I could even reach for the lids. I remembered to close the patio door turn the ceiling fan off but didn't look for kitties. She was escorted out of my room with flakes on her whiskers, tail and paws, she did look cute though and she did have fun. I just gathered up the flakes that she played with and this is the result. I couldn't bring myself to throw them away and start again. I think Bubble did quite well.
Ramble finished, I hope you like this weeks make for Creative Expressions.
Products Used:-

Spell Binders- Twisted Metal Tags & Accents
Spellbinders- Butterfly Les Papillions Two.
First I started by Matt and layering Black and the orange pearl card and then embossed with bed of roses EF. The 2nd matt & layering I used White, Black & Orange pearl and emboss the orange card again and used strips of sticky pads for dimension. I stamped 2 lots of Scribble rose stamp with gilding flake glue and added gilding flakes. Then cut into 4 identical strips. I covered each strip with double sided sticky sheets and then covered with iced snow glitter. I then made a square with the 4 strips, added sticky pads to the back and attached to card for more dimension. I made the focal point with 4 different dies and used different levels of sticky strips and pads for dimension and added down into the square. I made a rose and coloured it wild honey and drew veins on it with a paint brush added the leaves, just to finish it off I put a few drops of Glossy Accents for dew drops,
and Et Voila!. Really hope you like this one too.
