Hope you like it . They won't get to see it until Sunday, and I know they will not go on my blog, so quite safe. they are having a 2nd honeymoon in Wales.
Feel free to leave a comment, well that's if you visit, and thank you if you do. X

Hi Tina,
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful, dare I say "A real Tina card" (from what they tell me LOL). I love the way you get those hearts entwined in the circles, so clever. And then butterflies and rose - what is not to like?
Your daughter/son-in-law are so lucky to receive a beautiful card such as yours.
Hoping that Broc is continuing to take advantage of a lavishly laid supper table.
Hugs, Rose
Hi Rose
DeleteThank you Rose, as you know I was worried about doing 2 hearts, they wanted to do their own thing, but eventually I managed to get them under control. I hope they like it.
I haven't seen Broc for a few nights, I think our clocks are on different time zones, although I know he/she has been as the table is totally clean.

WOW, WOW, and more WOW!!! Tina this is just absolutely stunning, it reminds me of when I first found your wonderful blog with the most wonderful cards. It just doesn't seem like a year since Claire and Toby got married? I love the design with those hearts intertwined with that circle, and of coarse your butterflies and flower. It's a Tina card made from your heart. Hazel x
ReplyDeleteHi Hazel
DeleteWOW, thank you. Claire really liked my card a few weeks ago with the single heart. So that's what I based their card on. I hope they like it as much as all the lovely ladies on my blog. Time is passing so fast it's scarey. Take care Hazel.
Talk soon

Hi Tina, These linked hearts are perfect, and this is obviously made with love.
ReplyDeleteYou making Sunday dinner for them then?
It is such a pretty heart die. You get am amazing depth to your cards, guess you post them in a box.
Hope the kids are enjoying and relaxing on their holiday.

Janice
Hi Janice
DeleteThank you. I would love to make them a big dinner, but they don't know what time they will get back home, and I know she has lessons to plan for next week. So maybe we can have a belated one, or maybe a big Bar-B-Q on the 24th May when they had their blessing. I do send the cards in a box, a few are really quite 3d so they are hand delivered. I hope they are enjoying their 2nd honeymoon, I haven't heard from them and it's not the sort of holiday you like to impose on. Hey Ho they know I'm here if they want to talk.

Hi T
DeleteThank you, I really hope they like the card too.
Your brother is a very lucky young man, and what a lovely future job to look forward to, and Suffolk sounds absolutely stunning.
I think you did the right thing by telling your brother to wrap up warm and take provisions when walking in the Lakes. Paul & I went to the lake district about 4 yrs ago now, I stayed at the caravan while he went walking, happily making a lovely slow cook meal for his return, only to get a phone call with sirens and Paul saying don't worry but I'm on my way to Carlisle hospital I have had a fall and have dislocated my shoulder. Funny thing is he came across 3 people that were lost on the hills and escorting them down when slipped and fell. Under his supervision they helped him down and called for help. Luckily I do all the towing, as there would have been absolutely no way we would have got home from that holiday without family help. I don't mean to scare you at all, but Paul has been back to the lakes walking since his fall and had an operation on his arm and took a year to get back to almost normal, but he carries everything he can carry in his back pack. Some thing he does take with him are those heat pads that you activate when you press a button, and lots of snacks and drinks. Your brother sounds a sensible young man, it's only us women that worry while they are off having a wonderful time. He'll be fine T. Margaret Corgi owner now gives us regular weather updates, she's a treasure.
Must go to bed now, I have an early start tomorrow.
Night night

Hi Tina has it really been 1 whole year where does the time go it really is scary!
ReplyDeleteThis card is so very special and believe me your love for them really shines through. This is one of the most beautiful cards I have seen on your blog, it is quite simply divine, wonderful and so luxuriously looking. What else can I say except if they don't think it's fabulous send them to Specsavers!!!
I do hope you have bought they a very large memory box, as over the coming years they will need one surely.
With love
Margaret xx
Sorry I should have said I do hope you have bought 'them' a very large memory box

Hi Margaret
DeleteI know, hasn't it just flown by, and it was a beautiful day just like today. I think this time last year we were still having photo's taken. doesn't seem possible. Thank you for your beautiful comment, but I have to say you made me laugh when I read about they memory box, you sounded like a Wiltshire farmer, like wot we do ooooo aaarrrrrrrrr.
Hope the weather is being kind to you, and hopefully you are feeling a bit better in yourself after your fall. Love to everyone, and little woofs for Tomas & Amy.

Oh wow Tina, what a truely amazing anniversary card, Claire and Toby will just love it (although im sure Claire will be expecting a 'Tina rose' and the odd butterfly lol ) lets face it it wouldnt be the same without either. I really hope they are managing to rest and relax in Wales, and hope the weather has been kind to them. A year- already !! Goodness, frightened to blink these days, the months go by far too fast!
ReplyDeleteSending much love and my thoughts are with you for the next 'down hurdle' you have to go through soon.
Love n hugs.

Hi Boss
DeleteThank you, but I really had to do a rose and butterfly it wouldn't be me otherwise. Another couple of Saturday's and you will feel just as astounded how time has passed. I've got more wrinkles too , what a bummer!!
We are thinking of having a big family Bar-B-Q to celebrate dad passing a year and not look at it as a sad day and raise a glass to him, can't believe we have been so long without him, Bless him.

Hi Tina,
ReplyDeleteI was calling back tonight! I told you I did! You see I thought I'd left a message yesterday. Oh help ! I was interrupted by a phone call and then forgot. Your card is really beautiful - you know I'm a fan! I think the circle of love with two hearts entwined is just lovely and the card is so original. The rose as usual is perfect!
Keep up the good work! Your daughter and her husband will love it!
I think your plan to remember your Dad is excellent! I loved my Dad and Mum so much and missed them terribly but nearly all my memories of them and with them were happy ones! Yes I miss them still but I can be happy and say thank you for what they did for us as a family. Off soapbox now!
Lots of love, Myra xxx
Hi Myra
ReplyDeleteJoin the forgetful club, I do things like that on a daily basis. Thank you Myra how lovely to say you are a fan, I'm really flattered.
Paul thought it should be a celebration of his life rather than a sad day.
My mum passed away just wks before we married, 36 yrs ago and still miss the fact that I didn't have her around when Claire & Craig were growing up. I think she would be very proud of them, as they were the first two in all the generations to go to University and get a job they really wanted to do. Hark at me I must have stepped on to your soap box too. Feel free to climb on board at anytime.
Lots of love to you too

Hi Tina,
ReplyDeleteWhere is it, my post on your blog from the other day? I know I posted how much I love this card. It's so clever the way you intertwine the hearts with the circle, but it's gone!! There's obviously a comment stealer around so I'll repeat and say that I think this is gorgeous, as I'm sure Claire and Toby did, lucky people.
By the way my Anniversary is in October, but it's 49 not 1, although I am only 25!!!
Maureen xx
Hi Maureen
DeleteThose pesky nickers, they get everywhere. Thank you for your lovely comment Maureen. Claire hasn't seen the card yet as they were in Wales and only came home yesterday early evening. I do have a key to their home and could have gone over and left it along with her pressie, but I don't like doing that unless she knows I am going, or feeding the cat.
Anniversary duly noted. Mine is July also not 1st but 36, and I'm sticking at 21!!!. Thanks for the chuckle X
