Good Tuesday Morning everyone.

I hope you all had a good weekend.  What awful weather our friends further up country have had to endure, I hope it hasn't been as bad as it has sounded on the news, it really has been bad for you this year.

Today we have had one of those really awful wet grey days, the one's that you go out in and don't realize how wet you get. We have 4 trees in the front garden already full of Pink and white blossoms and looking so pretty, Spring is definitely on it's way. Saturday  was beautiful and the sun we did have was warm enough to take Summer, our elderly cat for a walk around the garden to eat some really juicy grass. I hope that you were all lucky enough to see and feel the warmth of the sun too.

I'm really sorry I have not posted a  Tina card this week, but I have been working on several cards for CE DT that had to be made ahead of time for the next couple of weeks. My make for this week is really different, I went into he vintage side of my brain, given my age you would have thought I was at home there already,  but here goes anyway. Hope you like it.

Products used:-
8x8 White card
Sue Wilson's- Bed of roses EF
Creative Expressions- Vintage gold card for matt and layering
CE foundation card- White

    1. Hi Jane

Oh Jane I'm sorry, no excuse but I have been doing some cards ahead of time for Creative Expressions. The sad thing is I can't show you as they have been scheduled for the next two Tuesday's. I had a wholesaler shopping day today and housework, but tomorrow I am going to craft until my fingers wear out on my Tina cards. Thank you for always saying how much you look forward to seeing my cards, you make me feel very humble.

  3. Tina, this is a good over 50% Tina card, as you have your butterflies and flowers on it, it's really stunning and gorgeous. We have a lovely day here, but oh boy what a awful night we had with gale force winds last night. Bless Summer going for her wee walk and getting her grass, she will have enjoyed that. Hazel xxx

    1. Hi Hazel

So pleased you are having a lovely day weather wise today, I really have been thinking of you with that horrendous weather you have had had to put up with. We had a lovely sunny day today and Summer has had a few more trips in the garden. when she has had enough she just purrs and expects to be carried back indoors, bless her. I will hopefully be doing more 100% Tina cards over the next week or so.

  4. Hi Tina,
it's a lovely, lovely card, deserves a bit more study when I have the time. I'm not normally a vintage sort of a girl but this one is just right. Waiting for my embossing folder, couldn't resist the roses.....
I'm unashamedly copying Sue's interlocking gatefold card, and really enjoying it.
After that I'll have to give butterflies an airing, if only to will spring along.

    1. This is my first attempt at a vintage card. I got sent some dies and papers from CE and then have to come up with some ideas. Luckily Mothers day is coming up so could make a meaningful heart card for mum's.

Enjoy doing your gatefold card, and copy Sue's card she would be so chuffed.

It's finished and looks SOOO good! Going to make another one in Kraft card, white and orange (or lime green)......... But first a delicate one for a friend of mine who is so not into that type of card but would love the one you made.
If that is your first attempt at vintage then I take my hat off to you - it is really lovely.

    1. Hi Rose, Tina might not answer this the same way, but, like some other top card designers, she does have her own style, and a love of flowers and butterflies. If you go back through her earlier blogs you will see what I mean, these are what we call "Tina cards".

    3. I'm so pleased Janice answered your question as it would have sounded so big headed from me. It is the lovely ladies on my blog that call my cards "Tina Cards ". I just love making cards with butterflies flowers and sometimes bows. A bit flouncy, and sometimes don't understand less is more, but that's where I am really happy.

  6. Wow another stunning card so very beautiful as Hazel says over a 50% Tina card with your very own special trade marks of butterflies and flowers, when they are there we know you have loved making the card, as your love shines through each and every time.
We are having trouble with our broadband again so will keep this short before I loose it again, if you don't mind. I will answer your email thank you, when broadband is better.

    1. Hi Margaret

I'm Trying, trying to get a few more things on to the card that I really like making. It's because using the dies I have a little more license to add a bit more of me, just so long as I use CE products. You really have had a bad time with your broadband lately. I don't mind how short your messages are, it is just lovely to hear from you. Love to you and family

    1. Hi T
      Thank you T.

Claire went to hospital yesterday, and they are going to do another test later this week or early next week we should find out today, and Paul is still waiting to see a specialist about his shoulder, it's starting to get me down now so goodness knows how poor Claire feels. Sorry didn't mean to end on a low. So I will up it again. It's lovely and sunny here today, so that's good.
