THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT IN 2014

This is just a little Thank you card for all your support in 2014. I don''t know what I would  have done with out it. So I send you all a really big Thank you .

I used some  stamps that I came across on line, and absolutely fell in love with.  I'm not a stamper and prefer working with dies but these were just a little bit different. So I hope you like the card  I made with the stamps and of course our Sue's dies.

Again, A big Thank You, and a really happy & healthy 2015.

Whoops!!
I forgot to say what products I have used.

Anna Marie- absolutely fantastic quality 8x8 Black card. I really recommend these cards.
C&C satin finish pink card
Hammered white card
Poppystamps- Theo butterfly die style 1060
Pink vellum for top layer of wings
Sue Wilson -Scandinavian, Corner, border & tag Die
Sue Wilson- Frames and Tags- Dainty Rectangular frame die
Sue Wilson- Californian collection- San Francisco
Stamp up- Stippled blossoms, beautiful double stamps

firstly Matt and layered the pink satin card with the white hammered card and attached it to the black 8x8 card. I did the same with the smaller matt and layering, but before attaching the white card I used to double rose stamps and leaves. I was so impressed with these stamps, I think they will used quite regularly from now on. I cut 3 of Sue Wilson's dies for the focal point stamped my sentiment and used sticky pads on each layer for dimension. For the frill at the base of the card I cut 3 Borders, scored down the middle, folded in half length ways  to form a long fan and glued them together and added some sparkles. I also cut 3 butterflies in hammered card and 3 butterflies in pink vellum glue them together and sparkles on them too. That's it. Once I had the idea it was a quick card to make.

I hope you all enjoy . XX

  1. Tina, what can I say except WOW, This is stunning , I am not a stamper either but I can see why you fell in love with these ones, they are gorgeous, and of coarse you wonderful butterflies and die cuts. As for giving you support, you are welcome to any I can give. Well we have had one wild night up here, everything seems fine round the house but, daylight might tell something different. Thankfully not working this morning and it should be calm when I have to go out. Take care. Hazel x

    1. Hi Hazel

Thank you Hazel, I came across these stamps by accident, but so glad I did. They were a little more expensive, but I can see them coming in to my crafting in so many different ways.

Sorry to hear you have had such bad weather where you are, and I think you are in for the same tonight. It is blowing a hoolie down here at the moment I hope you didn't find too much damage this morning and I hope you will be safe tonight.

      Talk soon, Take care

  2. Good morning Tina,
This is beeeaaauuutifuuulll, i love the stamp that you have used. I am like you i would have normally said, but no i'm not as i can't stamp that cleverly at all. This looks as if it is a 2 or 3 stamp process, but it does make a stunning back drop to your beautiful dies and flutterbys' in flight. I love the pale pink that you have used for the fluttering part of the butterflies and that they actually look as if they are in flight. A really beautiful card that anyone would love to receive.
    Love and crafty hugs

    1. Hi Norah

I didn't think for one moment that I would have enjoyed stamping, but the beauty of this stamps is. If it stamps uneven, when you put the fancy stamp on top it looks more like you have hand coloured the flower, and you don't have to press hard down on the stamp either. I hope that makes sense. If you want to send me your email. I will contact you, and the card is yours. You take care of yourself,

I really miss reading about your hills, and you also need to batten down the hatches because as you are in for bad weather again tonight. Stay safe.

  3. Wow Oh Wow this is absolutely stunning and no mistake, talk about taking your breath away when I first saw this I was gasping! You really have excelled it is so very, very, beautiful, I don't know what else to say words are quite simply not enough. To say you are not a stamper, well, what about the rest of us, you really do put my efforts to shame, those roses are wonderful. The butterflies look brilliant almost as if the are ready to fly up to the moon, thank goodness they are not up here in the wild and windy North today or they would be lost forever! Truly there is quite clearly only one way for you to go, and that is up, up, and up.
Your sentiment comes straight back to you Tina, thank you so much for all the wonderful inspiration you give everyone, and for sharing you fantastic work with us. You are more than welcome to any help and support however small that I can offer, as I have said before, you only have to ask.

    With love

  6. Happy New Year to you and your Family Tina, I hope it will be a kind one for you.
I haven't been here for a wee while and I had a break from blogging and commentting over the Festive period, just so tired after a hectic run up to Christmas, so many people with mental health problems struggle at this time of the year.
Anyway, I'm delighted to be back to visit and to see such gorgeous cards, especially the beautiful pink and black stamped card. This card today is wonderful, gorgeous dies and your design is fabulous, your such a talented lady. I'm a stamper and colourer, I'm not so good with dies other than for embellishment, so I'm always in awe of you girls who create with the dies.
Have a good weekend, hugs Kate x

    1. Hi T

Thank you so much, I hope people won't get bored with this stamp set, I am really impressed with the effect. Even Paul ( hubby) said you didn't do that that's a printed paper, which made me feel good but that is just how simple the stamp is to use. Still no news from the doctors with results. spoke to her last evening and she said the pain was increasing again. Time to private I think.

Thank you for your best wishes for Claire.

  11. Good evening Tina,
I have been trying to get my hands on that "stamp"
We don't have a StampinUp demonstrator in this neck of the woods. I have trawled their on-line catalogue without success.
Can you give me any further info??
Hope your weather in better than ours ... been more snow today
