Hello Friends

Hi my blog friends

I'm so sorry I didn't reply to your messages on my last blog as it has been quite a tough time with anniversaries, Thank you for all your lovely comments and for sticking with me and my family throughout the awful past year.

I'm glad you all liked the idea of the bears. Claire & another baby loss mummy, Hayley organised a fund raising event for Aching Arms and it took place on the 1st April. We were all busy baking, I have never seen so much cake, ever! Claire & Hayley did a fantastic job of decorating the church hall. There was a table put out for all mum's & dad's who had also lost their beautiful babies and they brought photo's. There were 10 pictures on the table at one time of mum's & dad's that came to show their babies and also their support. It was a very emotional day but what a fantastic cause. The event started at 2.30pm and ended at 4.30pm. We just asked for people to make a donation and please help yourself to as much cake & tea as you want. The picture shows a very full table, but I topped the table up many times with donated cakes. Claire & Hayley should be so proud of themselves as they raised a fantastic £1195-00 in 2 hours and money is still coming in.

This was just a small amount of cake

These are just a few pictures of our angel babies.

The party was themed as a mad hatters tea party, and some people actually came wearing hats.

Just a few Aching Arms teddies that were wearing labels that had been donated to other families from another Angel Baby.

All I can say to Claire & Hayley is we are all so proud of you and all your hard word certainly paid off for a very worthy charity.

What a lovely day Paul & I had meeting Hazel ( Baskets of joy ) and her lovely husband Charlie. We did not stop talking, so much so the shop was emptying their tills ready to cash up for the day. So we felt rather than be asked to leave we would leave gracefully, we then went on the river bank next to the car park and fed the ducks and a couple of swans and chatted some more. Just not long enough.

Hazel gave me two beautiful presents when I arrived. 1st was a beautiful decorated box with fudge inside. It really is stunning Patricia and I will treasure it, Thank You very much. I have to say I didn't find the fudge until I got home as it was so beautifully packaged.X

2nd was another beautiful box. I untied the ribbon and as I opened the lid I could see Hazel smiling, I lifted the tissue paper and said "Oh it's my Summer", who passed 8th June last year. Hazel and her daughter had gone onto my blog to find a picture of Summer and Gillian Hazel's daughter made this beautiful little ornament of my much missed little pusscat. Gillian even got the little dairylea triangle ( as I called it ) colouring under her chin. I absolutely love it, Thank You so much Gillian. She is sat right in front of me in my workroom where I just stare at her constantly.X

Isn't this just beautiful! A real little character, just like my Summer.

Hazel has invited me to go to one of their get together later in the year. So that's something for me to look forward to, and Maureen you're right Hazel is a lovely lady and the time with her was just too short.

Finally, I saw my surgeon on Monday 3rd and she went through my 3 options but I was basically left with the 3rd option which is a full hysterectomy. The other two options didn't have guarantee's that things would not progress. She said although I had 2 negative biopsy's, meaning no cancer having a coil in affects the result and doesn't give to true reading. So basically it was coil out, no guarantee the pre C cells wouldn't grow back and possibly change. Or coil stays in and could possibly bleed for the 5 yrs it is in place, and every six months having to go back in for hysteroscopy's  but not under general anesthetics as being put under so many times in 5 years is not good. So I will be going in in the next 4 to 8 weeks. I know they have to tell you of all the things that could go wrong, I am now petrified. The only light hearted one was, as I was telling Hazel today is with having keyhole surgery the bed is tipped backwards so you are slightly head down and all I could think of is OMG I hope my gown doesn't roll up and show everything off and I hope they do me before they have their lunch.

I'm sorry that this blog has read a bit like war & peace, it's either all or nothing at the moment. I do have a card in mind to make and the back ground is wallpaper samples. My sister went to B&Q and Homebase and  took a fair size sample and said what can you do with this. So thinking cap on.

I hope you like what you see & read, and I'll try not to make it so long next time. Thank you so much for your endless patience.

Lots of Love & Hugs

My little make for my little Evelyn

Hi my friends.

This heart was meant to be given to Claire at Evelyn's party, but after my op I couldn't sit in my workroom too long to finish it. So I thought I would give it to her & Toby when they got home from their holiday in Morocco.

I was just going to make daffodils on the heart, but thought I would try and make forget-me-nots too. I found an old punch of little flowers that had gone in the throw me out box after buying new storage draws for my workroom. It made me look at my punches again, but still throwing loads.

This make was very therapeutic and I really enjoyed every minute of making it. I'm hoping Claire might keep this in Evelyn's nursery but if she chooses to take it to Evelyn's garden at the crematorium I will need to glaze every inch of it and try and make it rabbit and dear proof as they eat everything. They have eaten all the Christmas roses that I placed there, but they're not that keen on hyacinth's and daffodils, paper ones not sure off though.

On the 1st April  Claire & another mummy loss angel are doing a mad hatters tea party in their local community centre, It's also so called Forget-me-not, and it's all for Cancer & for a charity called Aching Arms. Aching Arms is a charity that donates teddy bears to Mummies & Daddies that have to walk out of hospital with empty arms and only a memory box. Claire said that was the hardest thing she ever had to do was to walk out of the hospital past all the wards with new mum's & dad's and crying babies and she just had a box of photo's and hand & foot moulds. Claire got sent an Aching Arms teddy when she got home and I was sent one too. So we make a point of donating every month and teddies are donated to another family that has just lost their precious baby and it's sent from Evelyn Katie Ward. We have also donated more bears to go into the new bereavement room from Evelyn when they finally ok the colour scheme so hopefully we can get started decorating soon, fingers crossed!!. Goodness knows what room they are using now, but the room Claire & Toby were in was very run down.

The teddies are no replacement, but you leave with something special in your arms from another family that understands what you are going through, or even for a sibling that was expecting to walk out with a brother or sister. Apparently younger siblings understand more about what happened when you tell them about the bear, and why they were given this very special bear.

I thought I would share with you a photo of our special bear.

Here Goes with my little make for Evelyn x

hope you like it!

I thought I would let you know how I got on with the results. I rang the doctors and the hospital on Monday 13th the doctor had no info about my procedure at all, but was willing to give me some results of a bowel test that I had never had, so who on earth had their results in my records. It's really scarey. The hospital told me that they are running 3 weeks late in typing op results, but was told I'm sure if there was something wrong you would have heard by now.

To my surprise on Thursday I had a call from my surgeon. Even though I had rung the doctors & the hospital asking for advice about still having problems and basically getting fobbed off over the last 6 months and was told everything will settle down soon. She was really taken aback, and said that I need to make an appointment to discuss my options with her soon. Had my recent op not been cancelled I could have told her what was still going on and she would have probably told me there and then what needed to happen 3 weeks ago. The surgeon that did my op was not aware of what was still on going as she hadn't read my previous notes, only what needed doing that day.

On Thursday my surgeon said she had just received the results from the surgeon who did my op.  She said I needed to talk to Paul over the weekend about the 3 options she had given me, but other than a hysterectomy the other 2 will leave me a bit vulnerable. I have to ring on Monday and make an appointment to see her and she said she will go through all 3 options step by step.

Hope you all enjoy the rest of your weekend, what ever you do have a good one.

Love & Hugs

Evelyn's Birthday

Hello friends

Firstly I have to say a really big Thank you to all of you for your love prayers and thoughts for our beautiful Granddaughters 1st birthday anniversary. Can you believe it's been a year since losing Evelyn. The 1st, 2nd & 3rd March were real thought provoking times for us all. There were tears of what should have been, and our expectations of  happy times to come with a much awaited grand child. She's here just not in the way we all longed & hoped for.

Claire & Toby did a little birthday birthday party on the 4th as they wanted to be on their own for her birthday on the 3rd. They did Evelyn proud, They decorated their house and had a beautiful cake made of the nut brown hare, with their words " I love you to the moon & back" which was a book Claire used to read to Evelyn when she was in her tummy & just after she was born in hospital, and they both read at Evelyn's goodbye ceremony. To this day I don't know how they found the strength to do that. I was, and still so proud and of awe of them.

I'm worried about Claire for Mothers day as that was the very last day they had with Evelyn, until they saw her in the chapel of rest the day before we said goodbye to her on the 31st March. So still 2 more 1st Anniversaries to get through and "God Willing" we can start to piece together our lives without anymore the 1st anniversaries looming as this past year has been a nightmare.

I've put a couple of pictures to share with you as you have all been with me from the start of our journey. Bless You. XX. That's our Grandbear  as we call her in front of her beautiful birthday cake and she sat on the the little chair her uncle Craig bought her.

Another big Thank You is for your well wishes for my hospital op and checking back to see if I am OK. You are all so thoughtful.

I am thankful to say the op did go ahead on the Monday. It's nearly 2 weeks later and I still have not had any results yet. No news is is good news right.  I'm not a negative person but I am still having lady problems that according to the paperwork I came out with things would settle in a couple of days, but as yet has not. I really need to contact my surgeon again and have a word, I don't think I can go another 6 months like this I'm exhausted. Hey Ho!! I will bounce back, I will get this sorted, but I can't believe they can be so slack. I'm not that bloody old that they can just discard, I've got years to live God Willing!!

SUE SHARMAN. Hi!  Welcome to my blog and thank you for looking in. The Die you are looking for is -: Cheery Lyn Design. FRM149 Mexican Tile Pattern. I did go on line to see if it was still available. "Golden Oldie's"

Hi My Blog Friends.

I'll start this message with my appointment to have an op on Thursday 23rd. We arrived for the appointment at 12.15 about 1 o'clock I was taken to my ward all the usual ob's done, and I found out I was 2nd on the list for my surgeon. The morning op's were running into the afternoon session and we were told there will be a little delay as the op staff needed a break. The lady 1st on the list next to me went down for her op about 2.30pm. All the other ladies in my ward were going down for their op's, under different surgeons and had been taken to recovery, brought back up to the ward and in time were sat up eating toast and having a cup of tea. I never knew toast smelt so good until you know you can't have any. Even the men that were in the side ward had gone down and come back and some were actually going home. Each nurse that was on my ward had gone for their lunch came back and said " you still here ". They even had their afternoon break and couldn't believe I was still here. Anyway at 4.15pm my nurse came over and said would you like to get yourself ready. I sat there with my beautiful backless gown on, modestly covered with my dressing gown. At about 5pm I said to Paul it'll be getting dark soon, at this rate I won't get out of recovery until it's dark and won't get get home till early evening . At 5.15pm The head nurse came over and said I'm so sorry but we are going to have to cancel your op today as the lady next door had a complication and was still in theatre, She then asked can you come back on Monday 27th at 12.30pm and they have promised I will be 1st on the list. I just really hope that the lady that was in the bed next to me is OK.

So Monday is another anxious day, really not looking forward to it again, as I got myself into quite a panic on Thursday. So fingers crossed it will go ahead on Monday.

There won't be a new card next week . I don't think I'll feel up to it after my op, and the 2nd & 3rd March is the 1st anniversary of when our stunningly beautiful Granddaughter passed on the 2nd March and when she was born on the 3rd. We only have Mother's Day to get through and then we have done all the most painful of 1st anniversaries. I really hope life gets a little easier as I don't think I could do another year like this last one. It's been unbelievably painful & difficult.

I've said this on many occasions, how wonderful your support has been throughout this awful year for our family. I'm really not very good with words, and Thank You just doesn't seem to do be enough to say to you all. I wish I could come and meet you all and give you all a personal heartfelt hug. XX.
Bless you all!

I've been making something for Claire & Toby for Evelyn's room and I will share this with you at some time after next weekend if you would like to see it.

On a much lighter note, I went right back to when I first started making cards and things back in 2013/2014 and chose a few different makes for you to look over again, some I don't know if I ever put them on my blog. It was all so new then and I really didn't know what I was doing not being computer savvy back then, and not much better now!.

Here Goes!

Christmas Crackers I made and the Christmas cards I sent below sent in 2013.

Card I made for Claire's future mum in-law back in 2014.

One of the 1st double layered stamping cards I made in 2014.

Finally, one of the first roses I made in 2014, even before MIL's card above.

I hope you enjoyed looking back over my very early makes.

I will be back with new cards soon.

Take care everyone, sending love & hugs and of course a big big Thank You too you all XX.

Claire's Birthday Card

Good Morning Friends

It's 1.00 am in the morning and still wide awake, that's only because I fell asleep in my workroom at about 11pm with half pint on my lap, so I still have a lot to do on Claire's card so I'd better get on with it. I really meant to finish Claire's card and go to bed early. When I woke I opened the door to the lounge,  the bedroom door was wide open and Half pint took a run for it, she loves going to bed. Who wouldn't when you get the biggest part of the bed even though you are knee high to a grass hopper,so I know that she is happy and tucked up in bed and I will get what is left between her and Paul when I eventually get some slumber.

This is the 1st really flowery card I have enjoyed making for a while, and I really hope Claire likes it. Claire, Half Pint & myself are going out for lunch to a pub that has a river running along side, and said we would have a little walk after lunch. It can't be a long walk as Half Pint's Little legs don't do long walks. Paul is going to try and make it in between work to have lunch with us which will be lovely if he can make it. I haven't told Claire so it will be a lovely surprise if he arrives some time through the meal.

Craig can't make lunch so he is going to go over to Claire's late afternoon to give her pressie's  and give  her little bro hugs.

Only My sister's card to go and that's Feb done & dusted. It took a bit longer to make Claire's card today as I didn't have any green card that would do for the leaves so I had to colour some card  with a stamping up ink pad and also coloured the ribbon with the same ink as the roses. I Really enjoyed seeing my workroom in an uproar for a good reason. I hope you like the card.

Went to my appointment on Monday. I have to have another Hysteroscopy, biopsy a smear and another coil plus another procedure that she said would be conclusive. She did ask how I would feel to have a Hysterectomy and I said I'll leave that up to you as you'll know if I need one or not. While making Claire's card today I had a call from the hospital, and I go in on Thursday next week.

See you all soon, and thank you for returning each time, I can't say how much it means to me.

Here goes!!

Well that's it folks, I'm off to bed it is now stupid o'clock and I need all the beauty sleep nature will allow, and to be at my best for my Claire Bear.

See you soon.

Love & massive Hugs

Paul's Birthday card

Hi my Friends

Thank you all for your lovely comments about my boy's card and the bed sit room. It is bigger than it looks on line. Paul has said if we fall out he'd be more than happy to move in there. (Don't tempt me), only joking, we've got more work to do this side of the house now!

Here is Paul's B'day card as promised. I really didn't know what to do, so looked out some old stamps and some fairly new embossing folders and just played. I even put glitter on the card and when I'd finished I thought what are you thinking about It's a man card. I hope I toned it down enough, only time will tell. Lets hope he will be in touch with his feminine side, but I think he knows me very well that I like a bit of sparkle and I think we all need that in our lives.

I have my six month check with the hospital on Monday. I'm a bit worried as things are still not right. I thought the coil was meant to sort things out, but mine has been worse every day, no let up. I will be glad when Monday is done and dusted and a decision is made.

We have the cutest little kitten that has decided to come around at stupid time of the day and night. He is so handsome. I take it he's a boy as for the first few day it came around with a sparkly pink collar, then a week later it came around with a sparkly black collar. We know he belongs to some one but it was out in the most coldest nights we have had. My sister is just as soft with animals as I am and because the kitten slept under the caravan. She opened the caravan door to turn the outside light off only to knock the kitty off the door step. She took it in and fed him, she didn't have the heart to put him out as it was so cold our fish pond had frozen over. He domes back everyday 4 times a day for food either from me or Chick. I know this kitty has a collar so he belongs to some one, and I don't encourage it to come around but it's very hard to turn him away when he is crying at your door. I know I wouldn't like it if some one did that to my kitty, but U wouldn't let my kitty out in such horrendous weather. Hey Ho, I'm sure it will all turn out right.

I have been working on Claire's card today for next Thursday, so no pressure. Then finally my sister's card 2 day's later. I have to say I have really enjoyed card making again and I really hope it carries on after the February's B'days.

Right Here Goes!!

OMG, what button have I pressed for the text to turn out like this, Hey Ho! I hope you like Paul's card.

Hope to see you all her for Claire's card. Thank you all again for still being here for us/me it really does mean so much.

Love & big hugs

Tina XX

Photo and info for you Mavis, sorry I couldn't be more helpful.
