Enchanted Mum

Hi Everyone

Sorry It's late in the day to post the tutorial. Better late than never though.

Today's tutorial was a pleasure to make and so quick as it's all cut in one go. I cut the flower out twice to make it, more full. You don't have to, it's up to you.

Here Goes!

These are the product I used

First I stamped the image with Perfect medium and used silver embossing powder, then heat embossed it.

I then placed the die over the stamped images.

As I said I cut two lots out

The 1st large flower I folded the petals under

I then folded the 2nd large flower upwards, and also curled the remaining petals upwards.

When all the petals are put together I used the end of my paint brush and curled some of the petals in different directions.

And this is the finished flower. I did add a dazzler, but again that's optional as the centre of the flower is pretty without it. I also layered the dragonflies. So that's it, done! Hope you like it.

Big Hugs

    1. Hi Sheila

I can't see why not. I think it would look lovely in fact I might have a go myself. Enjoy yourself at your 1st workshop and well done you for doing that, it's something I would love to do. I spoke to Claire yesterday and she did have a painful session at work that brought on some tears and had to walk out of the classroom so the little ones didn't see. If only I could have the pain instead, I was hoping once she had got past the sicky stage she could enjoy carrying her little bundle.

  3. Hi Tina. Another great tutorial. The mums look beautiful and it must be so much easier when you have the stamps to give them a more beautiful finish. I am like Sheila and don't have the Mums but have the Delicate Asters so if you have them could you do a tutorial with a large and small full flower if you have the time. It must be awful for you to see Clare in pain when really she should be enjoying this special time. I just hope things get easier for her.
Take care Tina and have a lovely weekend
    Best Wishes.

  14. Hi hon.
Absolutely gorgeous. I've started to look at my floral dies in a different light since you started showing us how to make the most of them with your tutorials. I really could go to town with them, and I have with one of the cards that was ordered, the only reason I've done it is because I made an extendable envelope for it to go in, otherwise I always use envelopes but they don't allow for layer upon layer. I'd have to increase the cost of the card's and I can't allow myself to do that. My turn for a dreadful week, remember that card you sent me ( phew - that one) ? Had to recycle 15 due to that problem yep, 15 !!!!! Can you imagine Tina ? So to say I've been stressed is an understatement I think I was as upset as I was a few months ago when we last spoke. I shall be SO pleased when Sunday has been and gone. I shall then go and spend the day with my two favourite girls next week, and spoil our Lottie like there is no tomorrow lol. Your outstanding Mum has cheered me up no end. Thanks love. Have a lovely weekend xxx p.s. I have no idea why my comment uploads twice, I only click the send button once !!

    1. Hi Boss lady

I did read your message on CE facebook yesterday about the stinky glue. I promise your, birthday this year will not have stinky glue. Being a bit thick I just thought that was how the glue should smell. I have since thrown it all away, but I do still use 3d glue hoping I just had a bad lot.

I'll be pleased for you too when Sunday is done and dusted but just think of that lovely day you are going to have with Lou & Lottie, my goodness you deserve a break. X

      Big Hugs, talk soon

  16. Hello Tina,
Another fabulous tutorial and I'll try it with the Aster as some of the other ladies have said. I think I have the matching stamp as well. In fact I'm going to have a look at what I have got!!! We buy these things, look at them, stroke them, and then put them away!!!
I do hope Claire gets some ease soon. I was hoping that after a couple of weeks the pain would gradually go.
