Light a candle

Hi Blog friends

I was hoping to get this on my blog earlier hoping that you could have taken part, only if you wanted to though.

This week has been Baby Loss Awareness Week 9-15th October. On the 15th October people around the world light a candle at 7pm for all the babies lost during pregnancy and after giving birth. The lighting of the candles on the 15th is called the Wave of Light. I lit mine briefly early this morning 0.05am just to show you my most treasured picture of Evelyn & me having a lifetime hugs and kisses, and the little star candle that is lit everyday for our little star.

This day the 15th October is for all the Angel babies. If you don't visit my blog straight away, maybe sometime just light a candle and think of our beautiful Evelyn.

Thank you X

Sending you all love & hugs to my amazing blog friends. XX

  1. Good morning Tina. For some unknown reason I decided to see if google would let me sign in this morning. I was surprised to see you had a blog post up as it's been a while. I think this is a lovely idea to remember all these angel babies, and your beautiful Evelyn especially.
I don't seemed to have stopped since coming back off holiday. Now on a mad limited time to help Beth raise another £600 as her pay back for winning a place in this years Shetland Pony grand national at Olympia in December. Will give you a call soon.

    1. Hi Hazel

How clever is Beth, she has worked really hard, but it has paid off. Send good luck wished for December. Good luck with the fund raising too.

I would hold back calling for a few days as I haven't a voice for 5 days now. Hopefully this cold will jog on soon.

      Talk soon

  5. Hello Tina,
I too will light a candle and think of Evelyn and others tonight as well as the families concerned!
How are you? I read you have a voice problem! So sorry about that! It’s most frustrating when that happens as well as painful sometimes!
I may well join you as my husband has a temporary hearing problem and I’m shouting for Britain!!
A bit late catching up today as we’ve been out for lunch with friends! No cooking today so that was rather nice.
Will be in touch properly soon!
    Lots of love,
    Myra xxx

    1. Hello Myra

Thank you for lighting a candle for Evelyn & all the other Angel babies tonight.

Regarding this pesky cold, I don't feel too bad in myself it's just night time hacking and morning headaches but it doesn't stop me pear chutney today and lemon curd for a cake to have with a cuppa with Claire on Tuesday, as long as Claire has the same cold as me. I really don't want to pass anything on, not this late in the game.

Paul's making dinner tonight so I am looking forward to a lovely roast chicken with trimmings, so no cooking a meal for me either.

I hope Alastair's hearing problem gets sorted soon and that you don't lose your vocals, it's so annoying looking at the smile on Paul's face because he can't hear me!!

Look forward to proper chat soon

      Love
