Final February Birthday Card

Hi My Friends

A little apology ladies. I made this card a few years ago.

Last weekend (Sunday) we celebrated Claire's birthday and of course played with a very poorly little man, he did brighten up when it was bath time though. We left about 6pm and by the time we got home it was too late to even think about making a card for my sister's birthday the next day, and I was exhausted.

So I went to one of my boxes of cards I've made over the years and came up with the BIG BOW card. I put an insert inside, I didn't even have to make a box as all my cards get stored in their boxes and then into a storage box , so I wrote in it and voila! job done.

I gave it to my sister on Monday along with birthday money as she is the most difficult person to buy for. If you buy her a present and it's not right she cannot control her expressions and you just know immediately you've got it wrong, so we don't bother anymore, if she doesn't say what she wants we just play it safe and give her money. Pleased to say she loved the card and said she didn't remember when I had made it, so if I hadn't told her she would have thought I was amazing. Hey Ho! I'm just too honest.

Do you remember this one?

Here Goes!

I hope you enjoyed seeing this card for a second time.

Sending you all Love & Hugs

Tina XX.

    1. Hi Mavis

I like it when my older cards become a surprise. I should go through my boxes and start putting one up regularly if I don't get to make a new one, really pleased you liked this one though.

Phoenix had to go back to the doctors but again no antibiotics and told he has to cope. I saw him Thursday and had lots of cuddles although my clothes came home a bit worse for wear with his cold. I don't mind it all comes out in the wash.

I hope you are well Mavis and that Tracey still going in the right direction.

Lots of Love and Hugs to you Mavis

  4. Hi poppet.I don't remember this either. Sounds a great idea to post them again. I know I've been honoured and ever so grateful to receive several of your stunning creations, they are all up on my craft shelving as a reminder of how lucky I am to have you in my world. I know I'm asking you something you probably don't know but can Craig helps you install a 'pin it' button. I have seen several of your cards on Pinterest and snagged each one I see but enough is never enough for a craft greedy crafter lol. Hope your little man is better they pick everything up at this age, get the childhood illnesses out the way and be shot of them right? Hope they are all getting some sleep now after the 'Fairy Sleep Mother' has sprinkled her magic dust lol.
Need to start creating Mothers day cards for next market but I'm going through my can't be bothered phase, lazy and need a sharp swift kick you know where lol.
Well lovely off to play more catch up on Sue's Sunday shows and see her work her magic on the new collection.
Sending love n hugs to you sweet friend xxx

  5. Hi Boss

I'll probably start showing the old ones next week but should really start making some new ones too as I did buy quite a few of Sue's new dies.

I asked Paul and he said he didn't have a clue how to get a pin button on my blog. I'll give Craig a call tomorrow and see if he can talk me through doing it, or if I sound thick enough ( which isn't too difficult ) he might take pity on me and come and do it for me. You completely left me way behind talking about snagging too.

Claire said Phoenix is on the mend at last, so lets hope he's had his fill for a long while. So it's back to starting the sleep routine again.

good luck on the mother's day card making. I'll cut you some Elsa background dies, Herringbone and the triple layer Wildflower if it helps with the kick. I think your table at the last market was amazing and can't believe how many cards you have made, if anyone needs a kick up the proverbial it's me.

I'll be in touch soon, Hard Luck!!

    Love & Hugs Steph

  6. Just a thought love. I remember some time ago you mentioned that you should think about selling some of your cards, have you thought about taking some to the fund raising events you do for S.A.N.D.S ? They are so beautiful people wouldn't be able to resist. Maybe cut some of Sue's mini expression dies take glue and your prepared if someone dare mention there is not happy birthday /anniversary etc. Anything got Mr the Belated birthday wishes die plus other useful expressions of you need any cut. It was just something I was thinking about the other day, what do you think ? Xxx
