My 1st CEDT Card
Good Tuesday morning to my regular visitors, and to all who just pass through. Please feel free to leave a comment, I love to hear what you think. This is my very first card as part of the Creative Expressions Design Team, I just hope it's not my last. Fingers Crossed.
Products used:-
8x8 white card
Black card
Vintage Gold card- Creative Expressions
Pine leaves- Creative Expressions Snowflake & Sprigs Stamps
Sue Wilson Die- California Collection- Hollywood
Poinsettia- Creative Expression Snowflake & sprig stamps
Creative Expressions- black embossing powder
Creative Expression- Gold embossing powder
Spellbinders- Labels Two
Spellbinders- Poinsettia dies ( leaves )
Creative Expressions foundation- Red card
CE foundation card for the leaves
Cosmic Shimmer- Cosmic Twinkles
I started with the 8x8 card, I matted it with a slightly smaller piece of black card then again with a piece of vintage gold card. I stamped the gold card first with the larger pine stamp and heat embossed it with the gold embossing powder. I then cut a smaller piece of black card and a slightly smaller piece of gold card, before layering it I stamped it with the small pine stamp and again heat embossed with gold embossing powder. I then used the Californian dies and cut an aperture. I put sticky pads on the back of layers for dimension. I put the California die inside of the aperture for a set back look. I stamped 3 sets of the poinsettia's with clear perfect medium and heat embossed it with black embossing powder, and cut them out. Using cosmic shimmer mica powder in gold I mixed a bit in the lid with water and painted the stamens. I layered the poinsettias at various levels for dimension and cut some leaves in green for an added splash of colour. I cut some festive holly sprays and added some Cosmic Twinkles to the berries. For the sentiment I used the labels two die and stamped it with a Creative Expressions Winter greeting stamp. I rolled it to give a beveled effect and attached it to the centre of the card.
It seems like a lot of work but it is a really very therapeutic card if you like cutting out.
I really hope you like this one.

AT LAST A CARD
Hi to everyone, regulars and new visitors
Thank you for being patient and returning. My lovely son passed on yet another bug to me, and then went off to scotland on holiday with his girlfriend. I won't go into details, but it ended with severe aching in the neck, shoulders, arms and back. Because my Ebosser eventually went to crafting heaven, I didn't have the strength in my arm to use the musical one ( Joy Trouvaille ).
Anyway, you can't keep me down for long.
Thank you all for my birthday wishes, that was so thoughtful X
This card is something a little different for me, well maybe not, well maybe a little. You decide! . I hope you like it.

COMMENTS
Hi Everyone
I hope you are all enjoying your weekend, and that the weather is more pleasant where you are, and not like a wet Wiltshire.
I just wanted to drop a line to say thank you for all your lovely comments, or shall I say all the ones I can read. I changed something on my blog to be able to receive more messages. Although I received 35 messages, when I went in to read them only 16 came up. I just didn't want any new people looking at my blog thinking I was rude in not saying thank you.
So until I try to sort out my blog I would like to Thank You all BIG TIME.
If anyone has any ideas I would be very grateful.
See you soon

CEDT
Hi, to Everyone who visits my blog regularly and to those who just pass through.
I had some fantastic news late last week, that I was lucky enough to get a position on the Creative Expression design Team. I've had some lovely messages left on my blog saying I should be on a design team somewhere, and when the position to join the CEDT was announced, I was encouraged to apply, I never thought I for one moment I would be lucky, and to get a position with Creative Expressions is a wonderful compliment. Now I am "very nervous", there's one thing applying and another achieving it. Good grief what have I done.
Thank you all so much for the support you have given me over our tough times lately and for the lovely congratulation messages.
Love
Tina XX :-)

Just love em so much
Just wanted to share this with you all. bubble is always the one to give cuddles, and she really loves her bro!
They are on the cat chair in my workroom having a cuddle
aren't kitties so cute. I have never rescued two kitties from the same family before, and watching them I think all pets should be be given a home in pairs, it's so beautiful to watch. this is how they sleep most of the time.

So Lucky
Am I the luckiest person ever. I have made some wonderful friends on my blog who have given me such support lately, with everything that is going on. I came home from the wholesalers on Thursday, I had only been in a short while and the door bell rang. When I opened the door my lovely postman Jym was stood there with a big smile on his face with my post and two boxes. I was so choked when I read the cards. I had two beautiful bunches of flowers, one from, Lancashire Steph and Margaret corgi owner. I know these lovely ladies as Steph and Margaret, but I just wanted you to know what beautifully, kind people I have on my blog and also on Sue Wilson's blog. Thank you so much Steph and Margaret for your support.
